Blueberry and Vanilla Gin Liqueur

This vibrant liqueur blends the rich, fruity essence of Maungatapere blueberries with the smooth sweetness of vanilla. Its bold berry flavor and creamy finish make it perfect for sipping or mixing, showcasing the best of Northland’s local produce.

Suggested Mixers

• Tonic Water: Pair with light or elderflower tonic. Garnish with fresh blueberries and a sprig of mint.

• Soda Water: A simple soda splash highlights the natural flavors. Add a twist of lemon or lime.

• Lemonade: Sweet and citrusy, perfect for summer. Garnish with lemon and frozen blueberries.

Cocktail Ideas

• Maungatapere Berry Sour: 50ml liqueur, 25ml lemon juice, 15ml simple syrup, and egg white (optional). Shake with ice, strain into a coupe, and garnish with blueberries.

• Northland Bramble: 40ml liqueur, 20ml dry gin, 20ml lime juice, 10ml crème de cassis (optional). Serve over crushed ice, garnish with rosemary.

• Vanilla Berry Spritz: 50ml liqueur, 75ml Prosecco, 25ml soda water. Serve in a wine glass with ice, garnish with orange and blueberries.
